UH, FIRSTLY, WHEN A GROUP OF CITIZENS MET WITH MAYOR RICHIE, COUNCIL MACALUSO AND CITY MANAGER THATCHER IN NOVEMBER, WE WERE TOLD THAT THE DEAL WAS NOT COMPLETE AND THAT OTHER NEGOTIATIONS ON SPECIFIC DETAILS WERE STILL IN PROGRESS.
WHAT WERE THOSE DETAILS AND IS THERE RESOLUTION DISCLOSED IN THE AGENDA PACKET FOR TONIGHT'S MEETING? SECONDLY, THE DOCUMENT FOR TONIGHT'S VOTE INDICATES THAT THE BARRIERS, THE BARRIER BETWEEN BUCKY'S AND THE COMMUNITY WILL BE A STEEL WIRE FENCE AT THAT SAME STATION.
SOME CITIZENS REQUESTED ALTERNATIVE DESIGNS FOR THE BARRIER.

YES, TWO, ONE TO PIGGYBACK ON THAT, I JUST WANNA SAY, AS A CITIZEN, UM, I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE TAKE FOR GRANTED THE EFFORT THAT BEN AND THE STAFF AND THE ENTIRE STAFF OF THE CITY, AND I'M SITTING THERE TRYING TO STAY WARM AND BEN'S SENDING REPEATED TEXT MESSAGES ABOUT THIS HAPPENED, THAT HAPPENED, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN, WE'RE GOOD ON THIS.
AND I DON'T THINK PEOPLE FULLY APPRECIATE THAT WHILE THEY'RE DOING THEIR THING.
OUR CITY STAFF IS EITHER INVOLVED OR OUT THERE IN THE COLD TAKING CARE OF TREE LIMBS OR LAWNS OR WHATEVER IT IS.
SO I JUST WANNA SHOUT OUT TO THEM.
AND LASTLY, I JUST WANTED TO SAY ON THE, UH, THE BUCKY SAGA, I WANTED TO THANK THE CITIZENS WHO DID SPEAK UP.
UM, UH, I THINK THEY KNOW I DID APPRECIATE IT, ALTHOUGH IT SOMETIMES IT SEEMED OTHERWISE IT JUST, 'CAUSE I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR SO LONG AND I WANNA THANK BUCKY'S.
I MEAN THEY, I, I WAS SURPRISED.
I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE THAT THEY HUNG IN THERE FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS PLUS WITH, WITH TEX AND ALL.
BUT THEY HAVE WORKED WITH US AND UH, I THINK IT'S GONNA END UP BEING A SATISFACTORY PROJECT FOR ALL PARTIES.

YEAH, I JUST WANT TO ECHO WHAT COUNCIL AL SAID ABOUT OUR, AND BEN SAID ABOUT OUR UTILITIES DEPARTMENT, OUR CHIEF DEPARTMENT, OUR, UH, FIRST RESPONDERS, CITY STAFF, THIS LAST COUPLE COLD DAYS.
UM, GREAT JOB ALL THE WAY AROUND.
YOU KNOW, THIS TIME LAST YEAR, UH, WE WERE GETTING GAS COMPLAINTS AND THIS, EVERYTHING ELSE, AND WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY OF THAT.
